Services Offered

Emotionally Brave provides behaviour and resilience consultations and workshops for individuals, couples, families, and organisations. 

Services are educational and consultative in nature and designed to promote personal growth, emotional intelligence, and improved communication skills. They are not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or medical services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact 000 or an appropriate crisis service.

Nature of the Work

Consultations focus on:

Outcomes depend on personal participation, effort, and external circumstances. No guarantees are made regarding specific results.

Services are delivered with due care and skill in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

 

Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon payment of the required fee.

Payment terms:

  • Full payment required prior to session/workshop unless otherwise agreed.

  • Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).

  • Emotionally Brave reserves the right to adjust pricing with notice.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Individual & Couple Consultations:

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice required to reschedule.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may incur full session fee.

Consultations with organisations:

  • Minimum 7 days’ notice required to reschedule.

  • Less than 7 days’ notice may incur full session fee.

Workshops:

  • Refunds available up to 42 days prior to event.

  • No refunds for non-attendance.

Emotionally Brave may reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternative dates will be offered.

Client Responsibility

Clients agree to:

  • Participate respectfully and honestly

  • Take responsibility for their own decisions

  • Seek appropriate medical or psychological support where required

  • Inform Emotionally Brave of relevant safety risks

Consultations are collaborative. You remain responsible for your personal choices and actions.

 

Workshops & Group Participation

Workshops may include shared discussion. Participants agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of others’ personal disclosures

  • Respect differing views

  • Refrain from recording without consent

Emotionally Brave cannot guarantee confidentiality of other participants but will set clear expectations for respectful engagement.

 

Limitation of Liability

Emotionally Brave is not liable for any damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We provide our services on an 'as is' basis and make no warranties, express or implied, regarding their effectiveness or suitability for your specific needs.
